Order times vary depending on the design of the piece. All special ordered items will be dispatched within 3-4 weeks.

Jewellery that is in stock and ready to be dispatched can be shipped within 2-3 days of the order being placed.

We offer a variety of delivery methods, the cost will be dependent on the location and insurance value of the package.

Within the UK - Orders will be dispatched fully insured with Royal Mail. A tracking number can be supplied should you request one.

Outside the UK - for all non-UK customers’ please note that STJ will cover all duty & taxes costs upon delivery.

Europe - can take 2-5 days and will be dispatched using fully insured couriers. A tracking number will be supplied once your order has been dispatched.

USA, Canada and Australia - can take 2-7 days and will be dispatched using fully insured couriers. A tracking number will be supplied once your order has been dispatched.

Rest of the World - can take 5-10 days and will be dispatched using fully insured couriers. A tracking number will be supplied once your order has been dispatched.

Due to COVID we are experiencing some delays in shipment of new jewellery. Please allow for this when placing a special order and we will keep you updated as to when your order will be dispatched.

We are unable to ship on Saturday and Sunday or Public Bank Holidays.

For security purposes, all Sophie Theakston deliveries require a signature. Please ensure that you are able to sign for the package at the delivery address provided when placing your order.

Sophie Theakston is not responsible for any delays caused by customs clearance during the delivery process, or any additional customs and VAT that may be charged by local custom authorities.

 

returns & exchanges

Please make sure your pieces are returned in a new and unused condition and in their original packaging in order for us to process an exchange or refund.

Engraved or commissioned pieces are non-returnable/non-refundable.

We cannot accept responsibility for items that are defective or damaged, resulting from improper handling, lack of care, misuse, accidents or normal wear and tear. Please refer to the Jewellery Care section of this website for more information.

UK Orders:

In the event you would like to return your online purchase you can do this free of charge and by following the instructions below:

• within seven days of receipt of your order, please contact contact@sophietheakston.com to request an exchange or a pre-paid returns label. You then have a further seven days to return any unsuitable items. (In total you have two weeks to get the product(s) back with us);

• a pre-paid postage label and returns form will be sent by post. Please stick it to the outside of the original delivery envelope ensuring that the package is fully sealed and the labels are fully secured;

• pack the item(s) you wish to return in their original condition, with the original packaging provided and enclose a copy of your order. Items may only be returned in their original form;

• please note any items returned damaged or tangled will not be refunded;

• we strongly advise you to obtain proof of postage receipt as we cannot be held responsible for any returned items until they reach us. We cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit;

• upon receipt of your return, your credit, debit card or PayPal account originally used for the purchase will be credited with the cost of the goods minus the initial delivery charges (exceptions may apply). We will process your return within 5 days. NB: Your credit card company may take a further 3-5 working days to credit your account.
